A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away …
Legends grow in the lulls between conflicts across the galaxy. In a remote corner of the universe, a suspicious outlander has brought hope to a fledgling mining operation desperate to gain a foothold in the systems.
His bizarre claims have struck a chord with management, who faces dwindling coffers and a handful of unsustainable dispersed mines. Contractors from across the rims have been recalled to base for re-assignment. This is the last-ditch effort of a starry-eyed storyteller to make his legacy known.

Bidu Dodoma - Rodian Tech Smuggler
Bidu Dodoma always has been the galaxy's most curious Rodian. Some say that curiosity is what will get him killed. But Bidu is interested, not foolish. Inheriting his parents' obsessive scientific intellect, he can't help but understand and explore.
Bidu tried to put his mind to constructive use as a Republic scientist, but became bored with mundane research and began tinkering on his own. His research caught the attention of an insecure senior scientist, who set Bidu up for smuggling top-secret technology and claimed Bidu’s research for the Republic.
Bidu escaped before they could arrest him, taking with him some prototypes he developed. Wanted as an outlaw scientist by the Republic, Bidu now uses his intelligence to do what he was accused of in the first place, smuggling top-secret technology. As it turns out, he’s pretty good at doing just that...
Aurick Kuhn - Human Bounty Hunter
Hailing from a backwater world on the edge of the galaxy, Aurick had few career options. One day a quiet man in gleaming armor showed up in her village, looking for someone. He asked Aurick if she could help him find the person he was looking for. Not knowing the man’s motives, Aurick helped.
After catching his quarry the bounty hunter told Aurick he would sponsor her in the guild once she was old enough. Ever since that day, Aurick has dreamed of leaving her planet and becoming a bounty hunter.
Aurick joined the military to learn basic training with a blaster and a ship. Aurick was at the top of her class in cadet school and graduated with honors. She was placed in the special forces, but only served a short while before she injured her leg.
After being discharged, Aurick sought out the bounty hunter she met years ago. True to his word, he sponsored her and Aurick has joined the guild. Now all she needs is to collar some bounties, buy her own ship, and get off this god-forsaken rock.
Gubt Grolk - Gammorrean Barbarian
Strong, quiet, and determined, Gubt quickly rose through the ranks within the cartels he served. His efficiency and professionalism soon led him to serve as captain of a high-ranking Hutt Clan, with a small team to serve under him.
Gubt was a confident fighter, having never lost a fight. That changed in a few short seconds as his team and mark were slain in front of him by a shadowy figure wielding power beyond his abilities or understanding; the Force! A flash of red light, an otherworldly hum, then death. Before Gubt knew what happened, the stranger gave him an expressionless look, turned, and walked silently out.
That last bit bothered Gubt the most. He had no fondness for his team. The most grievous wound, worse than death, was that the forcewielder had not considered Gubt a threat. In fact, he barely acknowledged Gubt. No more than one would notice an insect.
Disturbed by this, Gubt didn't bother returning to the Grand Hutt Council. His mark was dead and his team obliterated. For the first time in his life, Gubt had failed. His only desire now was to prove to any forcewielder, but mostly to himself, that he is not a coward or a weakling to be ignored.
